Soft Wheat Quality Laboratory (SWQL) is located in Wooster, Ohio. SWQL collaborates with public and private wheat breeding porgrams and provides data on grain characteristics, milling properties, and baking properties.
The Food Processing Pilot Plant is located in Howlett Hall on the Columbus campus. It is a reserach and teaching facility designed for fruit and vegetable processing. Other facilities in the Food Science & Technology Department include the Lipid and Flavor Chemistry Laboratory and Hass Chair "Functional Food for Health" Laborartory.
