Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center (MCIC)

Light microscopy exampleThe MCIC is a shared technology lab at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, OH. They house equipment and provide services in the following:

  • Microscopy (light, confocal, transmission, scanning electron, laser capture microdissection)
  • Genomics (low and high-throughput sequencing, genotyping)
  • Bioinformatics (MCIC Computational Biology Laboratory, consultation & training)

 

 

 


James Genomics Shared Resource (GSR)

The James Genomics Shared ResourceThe GSR at the James Comprehensive Cancer Center at OSU provides Nucleic Acid and Microarray services, including:

  • Sequencing (sanger and next-generation)
  • Genotyping (assays based on RT-PCR, capillary electrophoresis or Illumina HiSeq)
  • Real-time PCR
  • Affymetrix GeneChips
  • DNA synthesis support
