Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center (MCIC)
The MCIC is a shared technology lab at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, OH. They house equipment and provide services in the following:
- Microscopy (light, confocal, transmission, scanning electron, laser capture microdissection)
- Genomics (low and high-throughput sequencing, genotyping)
- Bioinformatics (MCIC Computational Biology Laboratory, consultation & training)
James Genomics Shared Resource (GSR)
The GSR at the James Comprehensive Cancer Center at OSU provides Nucleic Acid and Microarray services, including:
- Sequencing (sanger and next-generation)
- Genotyping (assays based on RT-PCR, capillary electrophoresis or Illumina HiSeq)
- Real-time PCR
- Affymetrix GeneChips
- DNA synthesis support
